He is survived by: his parents, Ernest Sylvan and Diane Sylvan; his grandparents, Joan Greene of Kansas City, MO and George "Pops" Knowles of Fort Walton Beach, FL; his siblings, Anthony Sylvan (Ida), Tiffany Sylvan and Serena Alaniz of Ankeny, Iowa; and his nieces and nephews, Kensley Sylvan, Azari Alaniz, Fabian and Julian Alaniz. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
