She was predeceased by: her parents, Calvin Jernigan and Sylvia Jernigan (Heilig); her husband Wilbert Franks Jr.; her siblings, Jake Dickerson, Gerald Jernigan, Sherman Jernigan, Helen Vaughn, Clinton Dickerson and Mary Potts; and her daughter Kimberly Reagan.
She is survived by: her son Michael Tarrants (Marcy) of Blue Springs, MO; her grandsons, Jeff Curtis, Kyle Curtis, Blake Tarrants and Trenton Tarrants; her great grandchildren, Kallie, Brandi, Lee, Michael, Hunter and Nikkolia; and her sister Thelma Payne.
