It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Scott Townsend of Grain Valley, Missouri, who passed away on January 29, 2022, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Orval Townsend and LeEtta Newton; and his sister Elizabeth "Beth" Townsend. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Townsend; his daughters, Kayla Townsend (Hunter Quintrell) and Norah Townsend; his mother-in-law Glenda Boyd; his stepmother Naomi Townsend; his stepsister Angie McGuirk; and his aunts and uncles, Clyde Townsend (Kathy), Sharon Ruhnke, Wally Newton, Denny Newton (Lori), Mark Newton (Angie) and Bruce Newton (Jill). He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
