He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Markworth; his children, Tammara Cornelius (Cary) of Archie, MO, Bryce Markworth (Mary Beth) of Archie, MO, Trina Hamrick (Jay) of Oak Grove, MO, Brian Markworth (Beth) of Blue Springs, MO. and Susan Elliott (Ian) of Grain Valley, MO; his siblings, Donna Donel (George) of Brandon, FL, Elizabeth Keaton (Kenny) of Higginsville, MO, Joan Giano (Stathi) of Yorkville, WI, Daniel Markworth (Patsy) of Concordia, MO. and John Markworth (Belinda) of Richmond, MO; his sisters-in-law, Linda Markworth and Bertina Markworth; and his grandchildren, Kelsey, Lindsey, Megan, Stephane, Quinn, Maygen, Emma, Georgia, Ember, Ada and Brody. He is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren.

“Dear family I never had a brother until I married Alfred and suddenly I had five. What a wonderful blessing! Every one was/is special to me. Bruce, being my age, always seemed to be the most like me, so maybe he was my twin brother. To counter my sorrow in losing him, I concentrate on the thought of the reunion going on in heaven with their dear Jesus. Ps 116: 15 says, "Precious in the eyes of the Father is the death of His saints". May that Father visit your family with His sweet love & care.”
