She was predeceased by: her son Phil Chittwood. She is survived by: her daughter Sara Stewart (Steve) of Blue Springs, MO; her sisters, Middy Leaf of Lee and Betty Keller of St. Louis, MO; her grandchildren, Whitney Stewart (Ben Richeson) of Blue Springs, MO and Phillip Stewart of Kansas City, MO; and her great grandchildren, Alivia Richeson and Will Richeson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and a host of admirers and friends.
The family suggests donations to the Raytown Educational Foundation, 10750 E. 350 Highway, Raytown, MO 64138 for a scholarship in Bessie's name.
