Salyer of Independence, MO and Anna M. Salyer; his grandchildren, Charlie E. Jackson of Gardner, KS, Lucas A. and Allen J. Gregorio of Independence, MO.; his mother Mattie P. Salyer (Spaw) of Grain Valley, MO.; his brother Dale W. Salyer (Krista) of Odessa, MO; his father Jerry M. Salyer; his nephew Andrew B. Salyer; and his grandson Paul A. Jackson. He was also cherished by his family and friends.

A celebration of life was held on Sunday, April 7th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Grain Valley Community Center (713 N Main St, Grain Valley, MO 64029).
