She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Waits and Thelma Waits (Smallwood); her husband Navy Captain; and her daughter-in-law Lana Everett. She is survived by: her sister-in-law Laura Everett; her children, Pam, Jim and Jerry; and also Amanda Bernard. She is also survived by nephew and 3 nieces.
