She was predeceased by: her parents, George Benton and Tacie Leona Mumford (Maddox); her husband Robert Franklin Tanner; her siblings, Monroe, Lee Mumford, Lovetta Mumford, Alma Powell, Viva Davis and Virginia Mumford; and her son Dave Tanner.
She is survived by: her close friend Mark Bunn; and her daughters, Sharon and Karen. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Burial: Number Six Cemetery, Donations may be made to Number Six Cemetery.
