She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Vernon and Hermione Shipps (Hays); her son-in-law Charlie Roe; and her brothers, Corwin Shipps and Eldon Shipps.

She is survived by: her spouse Alpha Dewayne Pike; her children, Ken Pike (Shannon), Vernon Pike (Vickie), Relletta Roe and Rita Jensen (Ron); her grandchildren, Darrin Pike, Kenny Pike, Joyce Gooding, Jackie Brown, Matt Pike, Danielle Pike, Aimee Wilson, Justin Pike, Alysa Ramsay, Jon Roe, Erin Hamner, Andi Carrel and Ashley Quick; her sister Phyllis Fisher; and her sister-in-law June Pickney. She is also survived by twenty-five great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren.
