She was predeceased by: her parents, James W. Winans and Elsie Lee Winans (Chaney); her daughter Debra Musser; and her siblings, Pat Winans, Jimmy Winans and Lois Masoner.

She is survived by: her spouses, Gordon "Pop" Lawson and John Howard Smith; her son Dan Lawson (Debbie); her stepdaughters, Laura Smith and Linda Pettijohn (Charlie); her granddaughters, Carmen Inman (Eric), Rhonda Lawson and Rachael Liday; and her great grandchildren, Erin Liday, Allyson Liday and Austin Inman. She is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
