He was predeceased by: his father Billy Gene Kerns. He is survived by: his nephews, Andrew and Alex Eli; his wife Susan; his daughters, MacKenzie Nelson (Erik) and Jordan (Mitchell Hartman); his granddaughter Solveig Nelson; his mother Doris Lee Kerns; and his sisters, Debbie Silvius and Cathy Karrasch (Warren). He is also survived by friends and coworkers.
