It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janyce Kay Evans of Gower, Missouri, born in Fort Dodge, Iowa, who passed away on June 30, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Potthast and Ruth Potthast; her husband Jack Evans; and her sister Joanne DeYoung. She is survived by: her children, Laura Fine (Chris) of Lathrop and Steven Smith of Perry, Iowa.; her grandchildren, Megan Fine, Maressa Marrs (Micah), Nathan Fine and Brendan Fine; her great grandchild Marci Marrs; her nephew Jeff DeYoung (Jami); and her niece Jayanne DeYoung. She is also survived by many great nieces, great nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Fruedenthal Hospice in care of the funeral home.
