He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Oliver Donnis Hood and Opal Pauline Loch; his sister Vonda Thompson; his wife Mabel Joy Hood; and his daughters, Donna (Danny) and Darla (Dave).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel (3609 Frederick Ave, St Joseph, MO 64506).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Legion Post 359, St. Joseph.
