He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Caryll and Eva Maude Powell (Lizar); his brother Bob Powell; his wives, Norma Jean Giddens and Betty Jo; his son-in-law JD Kerns; and his grandsons, Andrew and Alex Eli.
He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Kerns of Shawnee, KS and Diane Caldwell (Bob); his grandchild MacKenzie Nelson (Erik); his great grandchildren, Solveig, Luke Nelson, Rider and Rollie Enlow; his sister Linda; his brother-in-law John (Judy Giddens St. Joseph); and his close friend Mary Fauchier.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home (109 N 3rd St, Gower, MO 64454).
