It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Iva Lois Cossou of Gordonville, Missouri, who passed away on September 7, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis McDaniel and Mattie Thompson McDaniel; her daughter Barbara Ann McClanahan; and her siblings, Helen Schlegel, Vivian Keesee, Faye Schott, Chester and Harold Lloyd McDaniel.
She is survived by: her grandsons, K. Scott McClanahan (Susan) of Cape Girardeau and R. Collin McClanahan (Lisa) of Gordonville; her great grandchild Ross McClanahan (Anna) of Columbia, Missouri; her grandchildren, Lexie McClanahan of Denver, Colorado, Troy-Lee and Lauren McClanahan of Gordonville; her great great grandchild Nolan McClanahan of Columbia; and her son-in-law Jerry McClanahan of Cape Girardeau. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy be made to Grace United Methodist Women, the American Heart Association or Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
