He was predeceased by: his parents, James Wells and Mary Wells (Andrews) of Sulphur Springs, Arkansas.; his wife Anita (Boyd); and his siblings, Junie Wells, Ada White, Thelma Driver, Jimmy Wells, John Wells, Bill Wells and Don Wells.
He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Wells, Roxcee McCully and Zachary Wells; his grandchildren, Cecelya, Adrian McCully and Madisyn McCoy; and his brother Ernest Wells (Jaydee). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and a multitude of friends.
