He was predeceased by: his parents, Carn Godsey and Francis Godsey (Wilson); and his children, Patrick Godsey, Debra Phillips and Rochelle Ford.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Pitt; and his children, Kirk Godsey of Golden, Mary Godsey of Golden and Ava Henry of Evans, Colorado. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
