He was predeceased by: his parents, George Whittle and Lucy Rose Whittle (Zehender); and his siblings, Gene Newton, Buford Whittle, Ruth Dean, Mary Lou Sisk, Peggy Piney and Mary Lou Perkins.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Eileen Merrick; his daughter Vicky Johnston (Randy) of Ivy Bend; his siblings, David Whittle (Carol) of Loose Creek, MO, Laura Davenport of Jefferson City and Vicki Brumley of Jefferson City; and his grandchildren, Brian, Angel, Chrystal, Danielle, Michael, Justin and Lindsay. He is also survived by twenty-two great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
