He was predeceased by: his parent Christine Miller; his mother-in-law Joan Gravil; and his aunts and uncles, Earl Miller, Burl Miller, Dodie Miller, Sarah Simmons and Judy Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Beth Miller; his children, John Miller Jr. of St Genieve and Morgan Miller of Branson, Missouri; his parent Christine Preston of Huntsville, Arkansas; his grandchild Katia Green (Taylin Duford) of Huntsville; his father-in-law Larry Bennett of Shell Knob, Missouri; his stepdaughters, Amber Duford of Arizona and Amanda Terlizzi of Arizona; his siblings, Harold Preston of Appleton City, Missouri, Osa Linenbrink of Green Forest, Rhonda Wareham of Appleton City, Karen Fields of Huntsville and Ramona Preston of Oklahoma; and his brothers-in-law, Joe Linenbrink and Lorry Bogaars (Tony). He is also survived by other family members and friends.
