She was predeceased by: her parents, Edna Forrest Shultz (Wilson) and Irvin Shultz; and her siblings, Marjorie Thomason, LeRoy Shultz, Irvin Earl Shultz and Clifford Lee Shultz.
She is survived by: her husband Franklin Lee Cogswell; her sister Wanda White of Cole Camp; her nieces, Debbie Hill (Mike) of Blue Springs and Sherrie Dean of Cole Camp; her great-nieces, Kristi Wheeler (Andrew) and Kimmie LeMaster; and also, Anthony, Kaitlyn, Hailey of Lee's Summit and Brenden of Lee's Summit.
She organized and volunteered for charity functions, was a member of the local Ridge Runners Square Dance Club, taught round dancing and did dance exhibitions across northern California.
