He was predeceased by: his mother Precious Sarah Ritter (Sparks); his stepfather Warren Grove; his mother-in-law Amy Onka; his aunt Kathy Haynes; his brothers-in-law, Patrick Lynn and Tim Long; his aunt Lulamae Ritter; and his grandparents, Martha, John Ritter, Hiram and Betty Lou Sparks.
He is survived by: his father Carl Ewell Ritter; his wife Amy Elizabeth Onka; his children, Amy Lee Lowe (Lucas) of Golden City, MO, Carl E. Joseph Ruth Jr. (Bailey Eckhoff) of Golden City, MO and Cheyenne Moriah Autumn Ruth (Brandon Lee Rowden); his grandchildren, Jayden, Adalyn, Harper, Silas, Adrian, Sayler, Koltyn, Bri and Rae; his siblings, Brian James Ruth, Hiram Christopher Ruth, Victoria Lynn (Billy Elder), Patricia Miller (Mark), Shelly Cox (Curtis) and Vickie Morrison (Randy); and his aunts and uncles, Patricia Stump, Jeanette Ritter, Kathy Ritter, Vanessa Ritter, Rosie Ritter, Alberta Webber (David), Homer Sparks, Donnie Sparks, Hiram Sparks, Sanford Love, Mitch Knight, Kenny Ritter, Tommy Ritter and John Ritter. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
