He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Roy Sr. and Sarah Cantrell (Young); his son Earl Robert Cantrell; and his siblings, John Obe Cantrell, Billy Joe Cantrell and Velda Wright.
He is survived by: his wife Arneata Louise Jones; his brothers, L. D. (Mary Cantrell) and Jay (Linda Acock); his grandsons, Michael Acock (Jill) of Columbia, Sean Acock (Lori) of Lohman and Seth Acock (Anna) of St Louis, Missouri; and his great grandchildren, Dakota Acock, Jordan Acock, Colton Acock, Emily Acock, Alexia Sardis (Shalom), Simmone Acock, Brooklyn Acock, Mila Acock and Liam Acock. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and hundreds of friends.
