He is survived by: his children, Lynn Fincher of Memphis, Walter Ford (Sande) of Glenwood, Pam Ford of Glenwood, James Ford of Glenwood and Vickie Pierce (Joe) of Greentop, Missouri; his grandchildren, Jill Fincher of Jefferson City, Robin Bartlett (Michael) of Excelsior Springs, Lindsey Fincher of Jefferson City, Logan Ford of Downing, Madison Taylor (SrA Gregory) of Fort Meade, Whitney Pierce of Columbia and Courtney Pierce of North Hollywood, California; his great grandchildren, Kailey and Payton Bartlett of Excelsior Springs, Missouri; and his siblings-in-law, Bryce Tallman of Queen City, Dwight Ayer of Kirksville, Missouri and Vena Tallman of Lancaster, Missouri. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other family members.
