She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnson Bynum and Lorene Bynum (Dibble); her son-in-law Herbert Cason Sr.; and her siblings, Myrl, Virgil, John Henry, Georgeanna Hill, Eva Mae Banty and Hortense Bynum.
She is survived by: her daughter Patricia Cason of Leavenworth, KS; her grandsons, Herbert Cason, Jr. of Leavenworth, KS, William Cason of Quartz Hill, CA and Marcus Cason of Leavenworth, KS; her great grandchildren, Yasmin, Marley, Marcus and Mylo; her sister Thelma Miles of Kansas City, MO; and her sister-in-law Nadine Bynum of Kansas City, MO.. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Lewis Chapel Community Church, in care of the funeral home.
