He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Leo Haynie and Mildred Fry Haynie; his wife Jo Ann Tennill; and his brothers, Donald Haynie and Charles Haynie.
He is survived by: his children, Jackie W. Haynie of Miami, Chuck Haynie of Marshall, Jerry George of Gilliam, Jeff George of Gilliam and Cheryl Garrison of Slater; and his siblings, John Haynie of Slater, Marvin Haynie of Blue Springs and Marilyn Grondahl of Caldwell, Idaho.. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
