He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Byers (Dorothy) and Joanna Byers; and his son-in-law Christian Laffoon. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Leuty; his children, Ben Leuty (Lindsay), Patrick Laffoon and Catie Ewy (Keith); his granddaughters, Dottie and Este Ewy; and his brother Tim Byers.
