William Hazen Jr. Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 4, 2024, William Hazen Jr. of Gladstone, Missouri, born in Springfield, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William P., Sr. and Wanda Fugitt Hazen; and his sister Cheryl Guastello (Hazen). He is survived by: his wife Edie Payne; his siblings, Jeanne Paynter (Hazen), Maralyn Wolters (Hazen) and Jack Hazen; and his children, Lori Call (Steve) of Grain Valley, Michael Hazen (Tracy) of Blue Springs, Anna E. Hazen (Teresa Poppinga) of Kansas City and Matthew Hazen of LaCygne. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a memorial donation to either the Wounded Warrior Project or Mercy Ships.
