He was predeceased by: his mother Raea Jean McDowell. He is survived by: his father Steven Roger McDowell; and his siblings, Jeremy McDowell, Crissy Murphy of St. Joseph, MO and Amanda McDowell of St. Joseph, MO. He is also survived by 1 niece, 10 nephews, 2 great nieces, 1 & 1/2 great nephews as well as numerous close friends.
