He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl T. Johnston and Dolores R. Johnston (Kearney); and his brother James E. Johnston. He is survived by: his wife Marsha Johnston of Gladstone, MO; his daughter Christine Mautino (Jim) of Cedar Rapids, IA.; his grandchildren, Matt Mautino of Dayton, OH, Erin Mautino, Nick Mautino and Madison Mautino of Cedar Rapids, IA.; and his siblings-in-law, Kathleen and Jerry Lightfoot of Oklahoma. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
