She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Chmelir and Ida Chmelir (Kuttenkuler) of Cole Camp; her sister Dorothy Moiser (Chmelir) of Sedalia; her parents-in-law, Henry and Doris Shoemaker (Brazeal) of Cole Camp; and her sister-in-law Joyce Brassfield (Shoemaker).
She is survived by: her husband Jess Shoemaker; her children, Rodney, Diane Shoemaker, Phil and Heidi Shoemaker; her granddaughters, Lauren, Steph and Karlie (Kye Saunders); her sister Martha Fallon-Kaufhold (Chmelir); and her sisters-in-law, Alice Deatherage (Shoemaker) and Judy Green (Shoemaker).
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the White Chapel Funeral Home (6600 NE Antioch Rd, Gladstone, MO 64119). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
