She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Stockton and Ruth Stockton (Roy Dale); and her brother Clayton Stockton. She is survived by: her former husband Walter Cook; her husband Roy D. Babcock; her daughter Patricia Ann Melton; and her grandchildren, Dr. Kim Melton, Dr. Scott Melton (Susan), Melissa Rose (Cale), Sadie Clauser (Chuck), Monique Thiboutot and Justin Babcock (Heather).
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting a donation be made in the name of Maxine W. Babcock to St. Jude Children's research Hospital.
