He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carl Banes and Rosie Banes; his sons, Jerry and Edward Banes; his grandchild Robbie; his wife Madonna Banes; his granddaughter Brandi Banes; and his stepdaughters, Christine Middleton (Dan), Vita Boeing (Reed), Johnnie Ewing (Craig) and Lori Tomkewitz (Martin). He was also cherished by grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
