She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charles O'Laughlin and Margaret O'Laughlin (Grabmiller); her husband Richard H. Mixon; her granddaughter Lexi Mixon; her brother Russell O'Laughlin; and her children, Margaret Sammon, Jayne Gier (Michael), Charles Mixon (Angie) and Richard Mixon, Jr. (Cindy). She was also cherished by eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and five siblings.

Charitable contributions in her memory may be made to the Bishop Sullivan Center and KEXS 1090 Catholic Radio Station.
