He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Barnes and Betty Barnes; and his wife Barbara Barnes. He is survived by: his stepmother Inge Barnes of Kansas City; his siblings, Mary Griesbach of Booneville, Missouri, Ellen Ross of North Carolina and Eric Barnes of Kansas City; his daughters, Elizabeth Schrader (James) and Laura Waldon (Dion); his stepson Kenneth Taylor of Kansas City; his grandsons, Jake (Selena Waldon), John (Sarah Waldon) and Blake (Amy Waldon); and his great grandchildren, Stephen, Kirsten and Milo Waldon.
