Lena Rose touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Sherrell and Lena Sherrell; her siblings, Nadine Sherrell, Dixie Huckleberry, Warren Sherrell, Edward Sherrell and John Orlich, Sr.; and her son Gary Orlich.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Orlich (Mary Anne), Rebecca Helm (Gary) and John Orlich, Jr. (Babette); her grandchildren, Gary Orlich, Jr. (LeaAnne), Nicoya Helm (Shawn Tolivar), Julie Hawkins (Charles) and Brian Orlich; and her great grandchildren, Oskar Hawkins, Quenton Hawkins, Savannah Orlich and Gavin Orlich.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Newcomers White Chapel Funeral Home (6600 NE Antioch Rd, Gladstone, MO 64119). A burial was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at the White Chapel Cemetery (6600 NE Antioch Rd, Gladstone, MO 64119).
In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to be made to Mid-Continent Public Library or to Northcare Hospice House.
