It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathryn Lynn Erickson (Gladstone, Missouri), who passed away on May 11, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Dan Sophy and Phyllis Sophy; her sister Linda Carroll; her nephews, Scott Cecil and Matthew Cecil; and her grandson Andrew Rome.

She is survived by: her daughter Danica Rome (Kirk); her granddaughter Madison Rome; her brother Tim Sophy (Carol); her nieces and nephews, Tim Sophy, Jr. (Heather), Nick Sophy (Kellie), Shane Cecil, Stacey Thompson (Jeff) and Mindy Cecil; and her great-niece Jennifer Kingcannon (Cornelius).

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations be made in Kathy Erickson's honor to the American Cancer Society (1100 Pennsylvania Ave, Kansas City, Missouri 64105, https://www.cancer.org).
