He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Norris and Mabel Alexander (Alexander); his wife Joanne; his siblings, Mary Taylor and Charles "Chuck" Norris; and his grandson Sam Abdel-Jaber.

He is survived by: his children, Marni Tyson (Dave Young), Henry "Sonny" Norris, Jr., Edward Norris, Shannon Danzo (Steve) and Julie Greer (Lee); his sisters, June DeMier and Janet Ropcke; and his grandchildren, Mike Tyson (Nena Burgard), Scarlett Tyson (Sean Ragan), Abby Whiteley (Michael), Jeff Norris (Lauren), Jess Ford (Cassie), Cami Anderson (Brad), Leah Norris, Nick Danzo and Stephanie Norris. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
