She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel James Reid and Mildred Naomi Reid of Kansas City; and her husband Norman B. Brasel. She is survived by: her brother Sam Reid (Kathy); her sons, Mike Brasel (Jody) and Jeff Brasel; and her grandchildren, Melissa Valenti (Kevin), Nick Brasel, Mikey Brasel (Danielle), Cait Brasel, Ashley Schiller (Joshua), Joel Brasel, Jesse Brasel, Aaron Decavele and Josh Decavele. She is also survived by her nine great-grandchildren including one on the way, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
