He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, David Warren and Jewell Warren; his wife Barbara Warren; his children, Marty Warren and Teresa Cox (Marion "Outlaw"); his stepchildren, Sharolyn VanHorn (Chris), Carolyn Bailey and John "Tater" Blankenship (Kelly); and his siblings, Juanita Filley, Ernie Warren (Verba) and Larry Warren. He was also cherished by twelve grandkids and fourteen great grandkids.
