He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edward Sr. and Margaret F. Barr (Gerling); and his wife Cheryl K. Knipp. He is survived by: his children, Michael Barr (Megan) and Karen Joslin; his grandchildren, Sophie, Eli, Delaney, Allen and Jordan; and his sisters, Kathy Barr, Eileen VanTasell (David) and Mary Ann Talley (Rick). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association or St. Andrew's Catholic Church.
