With heavy hearts, we announce the death of LaVerne Mae Hecht of Gerald, Missouri, who passed away on April 19, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Copeland and Sylvia Copeland (Schweer); her parents-in-law, Julius and Mabel Hecht; her husband Edward Hecht; her brothers, Don and Gene Copeland; her siblings-in-law, Jimmie D. Schmidt, Hadley, Warren Hecht, Bernice, Mary Lou Copeland and Jackie Hecht; and her son-in-law Kirk Barringhaus.
She is survived by: her children, Rhonda Barringhaus of Gerald and Richard Hecht of Gerald; her sister Peggy Schmidt of Sullivan; and her grandchildren, Amy Bone (Clint) of Gerald, Julia Warren (Justin) of Rosebud, Kory Hecht (Kate) of Gerald and Ben Barringhaus (Danyee) of Gerald. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
