He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Henry and Celeste Josephine Laux (Hentges); his wife Mary Margaret Lorton; his brothers, James and Paul Laux; and his sisters-in-law, Debra Laux and Linda Laux.
He is survived by: his stepsons, Russ Farrell (Sherry) of Owensville and Rich Withers (Becky) of Washington; his children, Julie Engelbrecht and Jason Laux; and his siblings, Mary Dorge (Alban) of Osage Beach, Vincent Laux of Jefferson City and Joe Laux of Jefferson City. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
