John Carpenter Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Carpenter of Gerald, Missouri, who passed away on December 17, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Carpenter and Helen Carpenter (Austin); his former wife Carol Vanauker; his brothers, Preston and Paul Carpenter; and his grandchild Macayla Carpenter.

He is survived by: his wife Margaret Schlittler; his children, Tonya Boehmer (Craig) of New Haven and John A. Carpenter of Washington; his siblings, Mike Carpenter of Tyler, Texas, Tom Carpenter (Denise) of Tyler, Dave Carpenter of Spokane, Wash., Pat Webber of Tyler, Mary Scarborough of Mabank and Gloria Quick (Fred) of Sholow, Ariz.; and also Carol Vanauker. He is also survived by six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation and services are open to the public; however, due to COVID-19 virus concerns, please practice social distancing.
