It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Declue of Gerald, Missouri, born in Cuba, Missouri, who passed away on September 23, 2021, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Benjamin Irving DeClue; his brother-in-law Eldon Schlegel; and his aunt Janet Chandler. He is survived by: his mother Bonnie Berneal Ransom DeClue (Sonny) of Steelville, MO; his children, Phylisha Lewis (Charles) and Laura DeClue of Cuba, MO; his siblings, Diana, Pletzer of Branson, MO, Joe DeClue (Raylene) of Sullivan, MO, David DeClue of Cuba, MO, Michelle "Shelly" Bensing (Nick) of Claremore, OK, Melissa "Missy" Copling of Cuba, MO and Daniel DeClue of Bourbon, MO; and his uncle Cleo Chandler of Cuba, MO. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
