She was predeceased by: her parents, Rollie Gilpin and Bertha Gilpin (Wilson); her siblings, Donnie Gilpin, Glenda Eiring and Sherry Shepherd; and her nephew D. J. Gilpin.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Durkee; her stepdaughter Maegan Varvel of Coloma, Mich.; and her siblings, Jimmy Gilpin (Tina) of Gerald, Richard Gilpin (Gina) of Des Moines, Iowa, Sue Davis of Gerald, Deronda Gilpin of Overland and Laura Travis (James) of Owensville. She is also survived by three grandchildren.
