It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bertha Rose Jasper of Gerald, Missouri, who passed away on January 16, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Bertha Rose may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Bertha Rose touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She is survived by: her husband Ronald Jasper of Gerald; her daughter Michelle Modde (Scott) of O'Fallon, MO; her grandchildren, Taylor and Madison Modde of O'Fallon, MO; and her sisters-in-law, Marianne Schwane of Washington, Patricia Schwane of Washington, Dorothy "Dottie" Jasper of Owensville and Jenny Jasper of Washington. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
A rosary was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 3:45 PM to 4:00 PM at the Oltmann Funeral Home - Washington (508 E 14th St, Washington, MO 63090). Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Francis Borgia Church (115 Cedar St, Washington, MO 63090).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association, American Cancer Society, or Masses.
