She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Henry and Agnes (Bruening); her daughters, Sheryl Downing of Des Moines, Iowa and Suzette Brown of Grant, Alabama; her sister Rose Bollinger of Ferguson, Missouri; her grandchildren, Shana, Joshua Brown, Mike and Dawn Downing; and her great grandchildren, Ricky, Romeo, Keegan, Colby, Franklin and Don Blaue of Gerald.
