He was predeceased by: his mother Phyllis Lykins Murphy; and his brother Roger Murphy. He is survived by: his father Donald Lykins of Stanberry, MO; and his siblings, Terry Lykins (Linda) of McFall, MO, Lois Green of Fairbury, NE, Phil Lykins of McFall, MO, Mark Lykins and Rose Murphy of Gallatin, MO.
