Frank Nelson touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Corell Akers and Eunice Akers (Kidwell); his in-laws, Roy and Ruth; his sister Virginia (Ora Collier Jr.); and his siblings-in-law, Ruthmarie (Donald Woods), Sally (Fielding Wilson) and Wendall Woody.

He is survived by: his daughters, Carla Craven of Shawnee, KS, Sheryl Gossett (Don) of St. Joseph, MO and Kammie Akers (David Parman) of Albany, MO.; his wife Elaine; his sisters, Ruth Woody and Mary Ann Lowary; and his sister-in-law Royan Meyer. He is also survived by six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.

The family kindly requests memorial contributions to the Frank Akers Scholarship Fund in care of the Roberson-Polley Chapel, 403 N. Hundley, Albany, MO 64402.
