He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville C. Clifton and Florence Clifton (Cooper); and his sister Betty Gove. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Clifton (Koch); his children, Jeff Clifton of Gasconade, Missouri and Gretchen Clifton of St. Charles, Missouri; and his grandchildren, Josh and Brittany Clifton.

Memorials may be given to Gasconade Cemetery.
